A labeling machine is best described as an automatic packaging machine or semi-automatic in-line self-adhesive label application unit used to dispense or apply pre-printed labels supplied on a reel to various items, products, containers, and packages. This is typically used in conjunction with shrink packing machine equipment to create complete packages.
While semi-automatic labeling machines only dispense or apply labels, more intelligent automatic label applicators can also print labels, complete with information like product ingredients, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and quantities. This makes the labeling process significantly more efficient.
Some of the most popular types of labeling machines are:
Our Labeling Machines Range
The most widely used machines in our labeling range include:
Our labeling machines can also handle specialized applications, such as carton label applicators and tube labeling machines, ensuring that your production line operates efficiently.
Our labeling machines cover a wide variety of applications and can be customized according to your production needs. All individual modules that comprise our industrial labeling machines are available in automatic and semi-automatic versions. In addition, we also provide shrink packaging machines and other related machinery.
Labeling machines are widely used in industries including chemicals, cosmetics, food and beverages, agriculture, construction, electronics, pharmaceuticals, laboratory, and animal care. They can seamlessly integrate into existing packaging lines and are versatile enough to handle a wide range of products.
Applications of Labeling Machines
Bottle labeling machines are designed to label a variety of products, such as:
Can labeling machines efficiently label canned goods, such as:
Carton labeling machines are ideal for labeling cartons or boxes used in:
Labeling machines can also handle shrink-wrapped goods, such as:
Bulk labeling allows for products to be labeled in bulk quantity without errors
The principle of the labeling machine is that an item is fed from a conveyor to the labeling machine at a constant speed. Once the product, container, bottle, or package is in position, smart product sensors communicate to the labeling control system and the onboard PLC to ensure that label application is handled accurately.
With the help of a drive wheel, the label strips is moved at timed intervals wherein the label strip is pulled out of the reel and pressed against the product by the labeler wheel. An open-ended displacement control is used to maintain the tension of the label strips on the reel.
The label belt pauses at consistent intervals so that the label tape can be applied to the product that is in sync with the labeling wheel. When the conveyor reaches a certain position, the label drive wheel accelerates to a speed that the label belt can match.
Once the label is attached onto the product at a predefined location, the product flows out to an overlaying device as the machine decelerates to a stop.
Automatic labeling machines can operate individually or be integrated into existing production lines with liquid filling machines, powder filling machines and counting filling machines.
A labeling machine is an automatic or semi-automatic system used to apply pre-printed self-adhesive labels to products, containers, or packages. These machines are commonly integrated into packaging lines, working seamlessly alongside other equipment like shrink packaging machines to complete the packaging process. While semi-automatic labeling machines only apply labels, automatic machines can also print product details such as ingredients, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and quantities.
What types of labeling machines are available?
Labeling machines are used across various industries to label a wide range of products, including:
Some key advantages include:
Labeling machines use a conveyor system to transport products to the machine. A sensor detects the item’s position, and the onboard PLC ensures the label is applied accurately. The label is dispensed from a reel and pressed onto the product by a labeler wheel. The machine is designed to maintain consistent tension and label application speed to ensure precise labeling.
Yes, labeling machines can be easily integrated into existing production lines, such as those for liquid filling, powder filling, canning, cartoning, and bottling. This flexibility allows for seamless operation across a variety of packaging processes.
We provide labeling machines for specialized applications, including carton label applicators and tube labeling machines, ensuring that your production line operates efficiently regardless of the product type or packaging format.
